CURRENT PROJECTS

  • Grassroots circular economy activities

    With Cooperative3e, Vaasa, Finland.

Starting in May 2024, we will host inclusive, multi-lingual community group meetings on a regular basis to delve into topics of sustainable living and regenerative approaches, with a focus on fashion and textiles and related suggestions. Together, we'll pinpoint local challenges and collaboratively explore solutions drawing from the perspectives of the circular economy.

Additionally, our series of expert-led workshops will ignite creativity and imagination, whilst imparting valuable practical skills.

  • Ecological screen printing with natural colour

    With Cooperative 3e, Vaasa, Finland.

I am exploring the application of screen-printed ink crafted from natural dyes and pigments as opposed to commercial screen-printing inks, particularly on textiles.

My objective is to cultivate artisanal products and eco-friendly processes for 3e.

PREVIOUS PROJECTS

  • Lam Lighting - Sustainability Planning

    Essex, UK. 2022

As a consultant to the artisan lighting company Lam Lighting, I helped develop their eco plan during their start-up phase.

A focus was placed on the value of their resources (captured, missing and potential) according to perspectives from the Circular Economy alongside their future learning and sustainability goals.

  • The Silver Social - Project Coordinator

    Norfolk, UK. 2017/18.

A programme of arts events (funded by Arts Council England) promoting engagement and participation among older residents and those at risk of social isolation in rural communities. Arts events usually destined for big cities were organised in small local libraries and village halls! These joyful events truly had a positive impact, see what some participants had to say here.

The Silver Social was nominated for the National Campaign for the ‘Hearts For the Arts’ Awards 2019.

  • The Missing Kind - Development Manager

    Norwich, Norfolk, UK. 2015-17

The refurbishment and development of the old ‘Ponds’ shoe shop into a thriving venue based on the values of kindness to people, planet and animals for TMK Charity. The venue housed an ethical shop focused on sustainability and educating the public, a vegetarian cafe, a social enterprise hub and an events space for many community activities. A real team effort fuelled by the enthusiasm of the volunteers and a shared desire to spread kindness and connect with others. The ShoeBox Enterprises took over the cafe and building in 2021.
